Day 2 Block 3: Girl, Interrupted

Remember to post twice for a B. More than that will get you the A. We've been seeing a lot of plot summary. You've all ready the book so that isn't necessary. We've also seen a lot of GREAT comments about characters and conflicts. Keep it up! Question each other and dig deeper.

I find Lisa interesting. She's my favorite character so far. The way the book is written draws the reader in. Humm so yeah that's it.

I think the book is pretty good so far, right from the beginning you can get into it. Not like other books where it might take sometime to get used to the characters and the book itself.

Lisa is a character that really stands out in the book. She has her own way of thinking and doing things. i think she likes attention and wants everybody to almost be afraid of her, so they will do what she wants. Over all the cook so far is good.

Well I've finished the book, and I found the whole book very interesting. I got into it right from the start, and I loved how everything was explained, and the metaphors used. Susanna wasn't very interesting to me, even though she was the one telling the story, she mostly told about everyone else, and jumped around a lot with anything about herself. She seemed to say a lot about Lisa, like Lisa was her idle almost. I did like how Susanna saw things. How she saw the doctors, and how she'd describe the diseases some of the girls there were diagnosed with. I liked how she explained what she was diagnosed with, the Personality Disorder. How she compared it to other things, then kept going back and forth on it, indecisive about everything she thought. It made it so you really had to think about what she was saying.

well, seeing as my block hasnt posted anything new to comment on, Ms. Thompson told me to go to a diffrent block.

I agree with Missy on how all the other characters seem alot more interesting then Susanna. By the way she tells the story and everything it doesnt seem she should even be in the mental hospital in the first place. Why did her doctor place her in there again? for popping a pimple? That doesnt seem like a very good reason to be in a mental hospital, normal teenagers probably do it every day.

Reading more in the book i came to like Lisa, she was the most interesting one in the book. The things she does sometimes makes me laugh and i wonder why she does some weird things. But it keeps the book interesting and every time i read i want to hear about more crazy things she does.

I finished the book and it turned out better than I thought it would. When I first started reading it I thought it was pretty weird because I had never read anything like that kind of book before.

Lisa was my favorite character because she always did something that would keep me entertained. Whether it was yelling at a random nurse or even just the things that came out of her mouth. But this book is probably the weirdest book I have ever read.
